ABOUT US
The First Church was organized on October 28, 1778, thirteen years after the charter of the Town of Conway was granted by King George of England. in the late 1800’s, North Conway had become quite the destination for summer visitors as well as summer residents and a larger church closer to the center of town was needed so folks could walk to church. The area was served by two railroads and was the home to at least 20 large hotels.
Today the church is located just a short walk from the Victorian train station at Schouler Park in the center of the village with a growing congregation dedicated to respect for the past but with a clear vision to the future.
